[Nagiosplug-devel] check_ping with v6 support

	I have not tested this situation with the curren CVS code... Are
you running the CVS version of check_fping or one you've modified? The
1.3.x version of the plugins should not have had the functions to
validate an IPv6 hostname or address as these were added only to CVS
after 1.3.0 was released... If the fping command which is IPv6 enabled
works without modification I would agree that is a better choice as
currently the check_ping plugin has to decide whether to call ping or
ping6 to do the test...
