Hi everybody,

first of all - thanks for all the nagios-plugins you
provide here! I'm using a lot of them - one was
"missing" though ;)

Here's a "poor man's implementation" of a
check_mysql_slave script that simply checks that the
IO-thread and the SQL-thread of mysql-slave is running.

Tested with MySQL 4.0.20. Please send all comments to
pero at optivo.net since I'm not on the mailinglists.

Well actually I accepted a patch to add a slave check to
check_mysql.c in plugins/ a few weeks back. Try a recent
release and let me know if it works for you.
