[Nagiosplug-devel] 1.4.0alpha1

what's the timeframe for moving it from alpha to beta and/or stable?  is
there a checklist or a list of bugs that need fixing in order to declare it
beta/stable?

yes - it introduced IPv6 support for some plugins and a bunch of changes.
