[Nagiosplug-devel] New plugin interface for Perl plugins.

I am submitting a number of patches to the CVS head for the Perl
plugins. Each of these relies on the accompanying modules, which have
been written as the starting point for a new framework for Plugins. The
modules have included POD which describes the workings of the Plugin
module and the supporting Plugin::Parameter module. These should be seen
as functional facilities that represent work in progress towards a more
comprehensive solution. I intend when I have time to tackle the error
reporting and Nagios output facilities for the framework and then to
finally provide some additional run-time support as well as standard
packaging for SNMP and other general plugin types.

I would welcome comments on my implementation and any upgrades that
people feel may be appropriate. I apologise in advance for my verbose
style of programming, but I like to be able to read my own code.

Regards, Howard.
