Initial Comment:
I'm currently working on a new plugin for Nagios: a
plugin to monitor NFS (and most specifically the new
version NFSv4).

This plugin will:
- check if the nfs daemons are running correctly
(server and client sides)
- grep some errors from the NFS logs
- check rpc errors (with the command nfsstat)
- detect when a mounting point hangs
- returns some performance datas:
        - check the percentage of cpu taken by the nfsd
        - check in /proc/net/rpc/nfsd the number of
effective processes of nfsd used
        - check the transfer rate of each nfs server
(with nfsstat)
