[Nagiosplug-devel] Plugin guideline suggestion

Might I suggest that the plugin guidelines be amended to suggest
that the what/ident identifiers be included in the source code? 

For compiled binaries the standard is usually to create a string
constant with the contents 
@(#)$Header$ 
with CVS expanding Header. Interpreted scripts can just put that
string in the comment field somewhere.

Doing so will make gathering the version information for a set
of installed plugins easier.
