Summary: Enables check_ldap to monitor root DSE

Initial Comment:
Had need to monitor root DSE using check_ldap but
unable since LDAP search requires a base DN of ""
(empty string).  

check_ldap version 1.30 (supplied with 1.4.2 plugins)
does not allow zero length string for base DN. 
Modified to remove test for zero length base dn to
allow passing argument of "" for base dn.
