Initial Comment:
Running check_dhcp on Mac OSX currently gives the error: 

 Error: can't get MAC address for this architecture.

The attached patch enables Mac OSX versions of the plugin to find the MAC address of an interface using the existing BSD code. This was enough to get the plugin working on an Intel Mac running Mac OSX 10.4.8.
