They can be compiled to pdf with linuxdoc. The source file (SGML) is in
the NAgios-plugins distribution. I believe the command would look like
this (although I'm not even trying it):

$ linuxdoc --backend=latex --output=pdf input_file.sgml

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to add various file formats for the
developer guidelines. I'll eventually look into adding some more...
