While we do our best to support as many architectures as possible and
had success reports from many of them, supported platforms usually boils
down to whichever platforms we have access to for testing and running
tinderboxes. Since it's pretty hard to get our hands on commercial
Unixes like AIX support for these is unfortunately limited.

This seems to be a problem with Gnulib which is a separate library
incorporated into Nagiosplugins. Since we updated Gnulib in the current
development branch and it contains a fix for AIX 6.1 please try the
latest snapshot.

If you'd prefer an old stable you could try v1.4.12... According to the
changelog of getloadavg.c use of libperfstat in AIX have been added on
Feb 3 2008; with v1.4.12 you will get an older version of getloadavc.c
wich may (or may not) work for you.

P.s. If you'd be willing to use one of your servers as a tinderbox that
will help us detect any regression as soon as possible and thus help
keeping your platform supported. All you need is to run one or two
builds daily using a script that send results back to our central
server. Please contact Ton Voon directly (and cc me) if your want help
setting one up.
