Fix check_mysql.c client options from file (#1199)

Hrm, it has been so long I don't really remember. I don't remember it ever
trying to get data from `~/.my.cnf`. My initial comment doesn't seem to
suggest that it tried to get data from there either before or after looking
at the strace output.

What makes you think that?
