When I ran it from the command line and passed it the parameters it connected fine. I did notice that unlike most plugins it returned regular info instead of a warning, ok, critical. Did you compile the script on that server or move it from another? Try running it with the full path while you are in another directory. I had a similar issue with a perl script and that was the test, the solution was to add the path to the include line.
