add some more steps to the test pipeline:
- make dist
- builds from the tarball above
this test should fail until #1943 is fixed.

This fixes a regression which was introduced with 719e27ddc2f0b48bcd7fe5584b23e3ce83ddf291
It prevents the creation of working release tarballs with the
current toolchain.
This commit add the header file maxfd.h to list of needed files.
