No problem. I understand the reasons why we have pst3. I think we  
just need to polish pst3 so it works off a configure on all Solaris  
systems.

 From the conversation with Sean, I think the ideal is that pst3  
works when compiled in 32bit or 64bit mode and whether the kernel is  
32bit or 64bit. My main problem at the moment is that on a Sol9  
server in 64bit mode, the distribution compiles pst3 as 32bit, but  
the kernel is 64bit, so we get a "/dev/ksyms is not a 32-bit kernel  
namelist" error. It would be great if you could provide a patch for  
this (I'm way outside my depth!).
