[Nagiosplug-help] check_udp plugin

Sirs,

      I am trying to use the check_udp plugin to monitor a cistron radius
server, but the only message as a result is no data was received, I tried
to use the -s and  -e options, but no success.
      The plugin works fine with dns service, but with the syslog server
service the problem is the same as the radius.
      Anyone can help-me ?
