[Nagiosplug-help] check_host_alive

Hello

When I added a host to my hosts.cfg file, the host stay in PENDING status,
this status only change when I add a service for this host in service.cfg
file and this service is checked, most time this service is ping.
My doubts is what is the interval for execution of command check_host_alive?
I not found something about this interval in documentation, maybe I dont
remember, but reviwing documentation not find nothing.
