[Nagiosplug-help] NRPE and check_megaraid2

I am trying to get the status individual drives on a remote raid array. 
Using the check megaraid2 plugin works locally but when I try it using 
NRPE I get "NRPE: Unable to read output"

Does anyone know how I might go about getting the status of remote 
arrays? The remote box is a Linux box with a Perc2 controller using the 
megaraid2 module.
