Hello list,

I get the following error when I run check_snmp from the shell:

./check_snmp -H XXX.XXX.44.181 -o 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 -C xxxxx

SNMP Problem - No data received from host

CMD: /usr/local/bin/snmpget -t 1 -r 5 -m ALL -v 1 -c xxxxx
XXX.XXX.44.181:161 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0.

When I then type in that CMD string directly it works correctly and returns
the timeticks just as requested:

snmpget -t 1 -r 5 -m ALL -v 1 -c xxxxx XXX.XXX.44.181:161 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0.

SNMPv2-MIB:sysUpTime.0 = Timeticks: (xxxxxxxxx) xx

I am running Suse Linux 9.3 and using the nagios-plugins 1.4 .

Anyone having a clue where the error is? Thanks in advance,

Jan
