Fedora Core 3
Nagios 1.2
Apache 2.x

i am trying to install nagios-plugins from source

i tried nagios-plugins-1.4.x and got an error with make so i tried again
with nagios-plugins-1.3.1

i am able to run configure
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nagios --with-nagios-user=nagios
--with-nagios-group=nagios --with-cgiurl=/nagios/cgi-bin

but when i run make i get:
.......
'check_http.c' || echo './'`check_http.c

i ran up2date on openssl to see if that would fix it, i really have no idea
what to do or try next?

i looked through the mail archive kind of quick so i am sorry if this was
resolved before, but i need to ask

thanks
