[Nagiosplug-help] NRPE didnt start

My NRPE daemon didnt manage to start and i found out the following,

"You must enable xinetd to use this service.".......... Can i know whats going on?

The below are the nrpe file in /etc/xinetd.d

        # default: on
        # description: NRPE
        service nrpe
        {
                flags           = REUSE
                socket_type     = stream
                wait            = no
                user            = nagios
                group           = nagios
                server          = /usr/local/nagios/nrpe
                server_args     = -c /usr/local/nagios/nrpe.cfg --inetd

       }

Can i know is there any problem on it?
Anyone knows, please help.....
