add that path to your ld.so.conf, then run ldconfig

    Hi all

I have nagios-1.1 and openSSL-0.9.7a over Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (v.3 for x.86); the name of this machine is 'doctor'.

    I have compiled and installed openSSL-0.9.8a, nrpe-2.0 and nagios-plugins-1.3.1 over Solaris-9; the name of this machine is 'comino'. I compiled nrpe-2.0 with: ./configure --enable-command-args --enable-ssl --with-ssl-lib=/usr/local/ssl/lib.

I have configured this check in 'doctor':

    /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe_ssl_arg -H comino -c check_procs -a 1:1 1:1 ora_pmon_comi

The result is "CHECK_NRPE: Error - Could not complete SSL handshake".

    I have executed in 'doctor':

    telnet comino 5666

The result is "ld.so.1: /usr/local/nagios/nrpe: fatal: libssl.so.0.9.8: open failed: No such file or directory", but the libssl.so.0.9.8 is in /usr/local/ssl/lib.

    Any ideas for that?

    Thanks in advance,

    Fran
