[Nagiosplug-help] problem with check_oracle and nrpe

I am having a problem with oracle_home  in the check_oracle scripts.
 I defined oracle_home in .bash_profile under user nagios even in
 /etc/profile but with no luck with nrpe though executing the script
 from the command mode works fine. How do I get oracle_home for
 check_oracle script
