    Hi,

I installed nagios plugins and trying to install NRPE plugins on my linux machine and installation directory is not default one. It is /opt/apps/nagios.

Below are the steps I followed to install NRPE.

  1. ./configure --prefix=/opt/apps/nagios --with-nagios-user=nagios --with-nagios-group=nagios --with-ssl-headers=/usr/lib --with-ssl-lib=/usr/lib

  2. make all

  3. make install

When I issue the above command, it is displaying following error message. Please suggest solution to resolve this.

  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  make[1]: Entering directory `/root/nrpe-2.8.1/src'
make install-plugin
make[2]: Entering directory `/root/nrpe-2.8.1/src'

/usr/bin/install: missing destination file operand after `/opt/apps/nagios/libexec'
Try `/usr/bin/install --help' for more information.
