Your check_snmp and snmpget invocations both work for me, so it's likely
something in your snmpd configuration.

Subject: [Nagiosplug-help] Probleme with the use of check_snmp

	Good morning,

I try to use check_snmp on a nagios system to receive some
informations about differents devices like, switch, printers, ...

At first, I try to use check_snmp directly like this :

	[nagios at dw2 libexec]$ ./check_snmp -H localhost -o
.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 -C public

	the answer is :

SNMP problem - No data received from the host
	Commande: /usr/bin/snmpget -t 1 -r 5 -m '' -v 1 [authpriv]
localhost:161 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0

So I try to use snmpget to know if there is a trouble with
localhost :

	[nagios at dw2 libexec]$ snmpget -v 1 -c public localhost
.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0

	and the answer is

	DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance 786704

every thing is working well with snmpget.

What's wrong with the use of check_snmp ?

	    Best regards,
	                            Denis
