[Nagiosplug-help] net-snmp

Hello,
While installing the nagios plugin, I see this
warning:

configure: WARNING: Tried /usr/bin/perl - install
Net::SNMP perl module if you want to use the perl snmp
plugins

I assume this module is required to use pl scripts for
disk usage and memory check right?

My objective is to be able to monitor disk usage at
the end.

I installed net-snmp (./configure --enable-as-needed)
but how to install net::snmp perl module?

I followed
http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/docs/FAQ.html#How_do_I_install_the_Perl_SNMP_modules_
to install the module:

cd perl
	perl Makefile.PL
	    (press RETURN when prompted for host and
community)
	make
	make test
	make install  (probably as root)
