Crikey!  I know better - that's what I get for being in a hurry.  I also
responded to the wrong message - Jessica asked the initial question, not
Don.

I'm assuming this question was directed to me, since I mentioned using Perl
/ WMI.  And to answer the question, I haven't even considered releasing the
scripts into the wild.  I don't mind sharing, it's just that I haven't made
the time to polish them since we use them internally.  That means there is
little UI and they're probably easy to break.  

As this would be my first contribution of this sort, I'd really hate for it
to go badly.

The perl scripts work great for us since we don't want to deploy NRPE to
every server we want to check for a variety of reasons: including the need
to maintain large numbers of configurations, particularly since we'd have to
keep custom check scripts up to date at all sites.

If there is indeed significant interest, I'll try to make the time.
