Hi Dave,

You can take a look at the negate tool from the Nagios Plugins package.

Subject: [Nagiosplug-help] Inverting the sense of a query

I have a large number of systems on which I want to continually verify
that telnet is NOT running. I can do that easily with Nagios by using
the check_telnet plugin, but the systems with the correct behavior show
up as red rather than green. The ones which fail the test show up as
green. This is a little annoying.

Does anyone know of a way to easily invert the sense of a query? That
is, short of editing and recompiling the query, creating a unique
version, which I'm sure would do the trick.
