[Nagiosplug-help] Nagios Web interface serves 500 error

I just installed 3.0.3 on a Fedora C5 box with Plesk 8.6 and everything went
smooth. I can get to the web interface but as soon as I click on any of the
cgi's I get a 500 error. The web log says "Premature end of script headers:
status.cgi." and in my suexec_log I get "command not in docroot
(/var/www/nagios/sbin/status.cgi)".

I have googled this to no end and noticed many folks with the same issue,
but all "solutions" come up empty. As of my last attempt to fix the
problem, I have moved everything from /usr/local/nagios to /var/www/nagios
and updated the /etc/httpd/conf.d/nagios.conf to reflect the new location.
This was in an attempt to satisfy suexec. Still no solution though.

Anyone else have this problem and more importantly, have a solution?

Thanks,

Steve Woods
