[Nagiosplug-help] Compiling nagios-plugins-1.4.14 on

It's a bug according to

I got the nagios-plugins-trunk-200910221200 source and it failed the
same way. I got he 1.4.13 source and it compiled no problems.

BTW, I uninstalled gcc 4.x and installed gcc3.x and got same result. I'm
trying now after have removed the -m64 option from the configure script.

I did the standard ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nagios which worked.
Then I ran make which bombed with

I've done some googling and the only suggestion I've found so far is to
remove -m64. Anyone have any other ideas? Or compiled in a similar
environment?
