Hi everyone,

we use nagios to monitor a lot of servers. Among them are 4 SAP servers.
They are queried via nrpe, and the checks work well except for the
checks calling check_sap_cons (same with check_sap) on one server (UFP).

Since we have some kind of central monitoring inside SAP, I tried
check_sap_cons on the SolMan. Checks for the local system run OK und
return 0, but checks for the UFP system return 255, while the correct
value is displayed:

/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_sap_cons 212 SOM; echo $?
SOM sapsom_SOM_00 Swap_Space Percentage_Used 4 %
0
/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_sap_cons 113001 SOM; echo $?
UFP Oracle PSAPUFP Free space 183052 MB
255

Why? The system decided in the middle of the night to return an error
level of 255 instead the usual 0, and there sure was no update of the
software or change in the config.

What can I do to get back to my standard 0 return code?

Regards,
Werner
