[Nagiosplug-devel] Using Nagios to log a host event to an external data-base

Hi,

Please, can you give some light about using Nagios to log to an external
data-base at the same time that it sends a notification by e-mail?

What I need to do is write in a file with the .xlm extension ( MS Excel ),
that is in a host with MS Windows OS, if it´s possible.

My doubt is about the script itself.

Can you help me, or indicate some site or something like that, where I can
find those explanations?
