[Nagiosplug-help] plugin return ?

Hello,

	I wish to write my own plugin for nagios but am unsure of the required output. From looking at other plugins I have
got:

CRITICAL - message
WARNING - message
OK - message

Example:
OK - 11 processes running with command name test

But then on other plugins I have the plugin name first, like for http:
Example:
HTTP ok: HTTP/1.1 200 OK -   0.003 second response time |time=  0.003

What should be correct out put be ? All STDOUT ? what about STDERR ?
