[Nagiosplug-help] problem with NRPE in background mode in client???

Dear fellows,
When I execute 
 ./nrpe -c /etc/nrpe.cfg -d & 
in the client, it exits very soon.
 
and when I execute 
./check_nrpe -H 1.1.12.12 // my server IP 
I see "Conection Refued by host"
 
I mention that, I have set:
server_address = 1.1.12.12
and 
allowed_hosts= 1.1.12.12
 
I am using plugin alpha 1.4.0
