[Nagiosplug-help] Problem compiling plugins 1.3.1 on HP-UX

Thought I would start separate threads for these problems.  I'm trying
to compile the 1.3.1 plugins on HP-UX 11i (11.11) but I'm running into a
problem when I run make:

Make: Cannot load -r.  Stop.
*** Error exit code 1

Stop.
*** Error exit code 1

Stop.
*** Error exit code 1

Stop.


./configure runs fine.

GCC 3.4.1 and Binutils 2.15a.
