I am trying to compile nagios-plugins-1.4.0alpha1 on a RedHat Enterprise
2.1, but the compilation is failing.

The error message I am receiving is:

make[2]: Entering directory

  -c -o check_disk.o `test -f 'check_disk.c' || echo './'`check_disk.c;
\
then mv -f ".deps/check_disk.Tpo" ".deps/check_disk.Po"; \
else rm -f ".deps/check_disk.Tpo"; exit 1; \
fi

Has any one experienced this error? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
