I set up check ping to monitor one of the host in my network. I always get a status of PENDING on the interface. I set this up in hosts.cfg and hostgroups.cfg. When I try to ping the host separatly, it works. Also, I executed Check_ping from command prompt and that worked. Am I missing something here. Thanks Usha
