[Nagiosplug-help] problem with check_dns. don't want to compile

Hello, I try to install nagios 2.5 with plugins 1.4.3.
nagios is working fine, but after installing the plugins, I cound not find 
check_dns plugin. I looked into the source directory and found that it is 
not compilied. The make program aslo did not create check_dns.o file.
I read the REQUIREMENTS file and there is no issue about that plugin.


I also downloaded the plugins 1.4.2 version. I made
`configure` and `make all` and there were check_dns plugin.
in the plugins directory in the source code i tried:

./check_dns -H www.comleague.com
DNS CRITICAL - '' output parsing exited with no address

also

./check_dns -H www.comleague.com -s localhost
DNS CRITICAL - '' output parsing exited with no address

Do you have any suggestions why check_dns cound not be compilied?
