[Nagiosplug-help] Nagios NRPE and check_mem plugin

Hi list



I have an interesting situation.



When I run NRPE through xinetd, I can run remote plugins normally
 with the exception of check_mem: a perl script that parses the
 /dev/mem file.



If I run NRPE as a standalone daemon, I can run check_mem just fine.
  Both ways, NRPE starts with user=nagios and group=nagios.
  



I have it working normally on another machine, so this is unique
 to only one.



Anyone else seen this?



Any suggestions, ideas, complaints?
