Hi,

just to let you all know..
check_disk from the latest release supports stale detection, too. 
Passing -L checks remote filesystems only for accessibility (stat) not 
against thresholds. Pathes can be ignored based on regex now, too.

The fstab/mnttab stuff is too special for check_disk, of course.
