[Nagiosplug-help] check_snmp won't authenticate with SNMPv3

When I run the command:

./check_snmp -H ###.###.###.### -P 3 -o 1.3.6.1.2.1.1 -U username -C public

I get the error:
External command error: snmpget: No securityName specified

I am running the latest version of the Nagios Plugins. Can you help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!
