If support for both is needed, could a switch be used to present the 
appropriate information either way. 

Wasn't check_disk changed recently?  I believe from one of the 1.4Alpha's 
to the current 1.4 release?

I monitor 4 different flavors of UNIX ( Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, and Linux). 
Anyone have a suggestion for each of them?

In the meantime, I will be using setting "process_perf_data" to 0 for all 
my swap services so that performances data is not processed.
