do these nrpe daemons accept arguments?. This is not the default 
setting, but I'd assume the plugin would exit with a failure if 
arguments aren't passed correctly.
I assume 207.158.10.18 is host ns2 so you might want to recheck your 
command definitions and full pathes, too.
